Green light for HUB's £250m Maidenhead regen

HUB Maidenhead

Developer HUB and landowner Smedvig have received the green light from the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead for a proposed £250m GDV redevelopment of The Landing site in the centre of Maidenhead.

The final version of the scheme saw a reduction in the building heights at the request of planning officers and reduced the housing component of the mixed-use development from 519 in the submitted scheme to 424. This change also saw a reduction in the amount of affordable housing on offer from 16.7% to zero, in a move that the council said was “policy compliant due to viability”.
