Land Securities Trillium has completed one of Guildford’s largest industrial lettings for more than 15 years, to tyre distributor Stapleton’s Tyres.
Stapleton’s Tyres has taken 69,450 sq ft on a four and a half year lease on the property at Moorfield Road, on Slyfield Industrial Estate, at around £7.60/sq ft.
Charles Wood, director at Lambert Smith Hampton’s Guildford office, which acted for Trillium, said: ‘Guildford is not normally recognised as a mainstream distribution/logistics centre and so this deal is highly significant for the local market - it represents the largest letting of a single industrial/warehouse unit in the town since the early 1990s.’
